Saw Palmetto extract has been found to be an inhibitor of 5-alpha-reductase resulting in decreased dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Extract of Saw Palmetto have demonstrated anti-inflammatory activity. It is indicated in Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), Inflammation of the urinary tract and urinary bladder.
